Waterville & Washington Railroad

Due to work, I've relocated to Louisiana.  My time is mainly taken up by work so I have little progress to show for the model railroad. I've had to place my modules in storage and all of buildings and rolling stock is in boxes.  I'll be leaving the country in January for many months so no progress for about a year unless I am able to take a few items with me to work on.  I'm going to see if I can build several Mopac FMC 4526 cuft covered hoppers the remainder of this year.

Wow! Where has the time gone? I haven't updated for over 6 months. I have had some modeling block, but I feel I can get back on track again. Current project is the shell for Mopac GP18 1976 - the Bicentennial unit. Doug Brush provided several pictures to me of the unit on the Northern Kansas line and I feel obligated to include a model of the engine. I attached an Atlas SD24 cab. I had to modify the P2K long hood by chopping down the tab that guides the cab into the long hood. It's sitting on a sacrificial walkway and P2K frame. The actual 1976 had AAR trucks, a larger fuel tank, and several other differences.
